2007
March 31st/April 1st, Clinic
with Yvonn Coleman-Larson for the third time!
April 24th, our first foal of the season born at 10:15PM.
Whitman is a strong, extremely handsome
colt by Waldaire out of Happening Baby. He is very flashy with lots of chrome
and could easily be a great stallion prospect. Highly recommend to a serious
show home!
May 3rd, our second foal and first filly born at 12:45 AM.
Name still unknow- we are between three names. WE are so thankful this is a
filly. Gemini (aka Mary's Last Beat) will be pulled out of the breeding
program. Gemini is a wonderful show prospect that we hope to get out by next
spring. Avalon (potential name) is a beauftiful dark bay gal. Super sweet
dispostion. Avalon is by Imported Black Stallion, Akatschi (he is currently
owned by young rider, Elisa and is back in Europe). Finally, we named her
Aria.
May 5th, our first show of the
season. Very pleased with our scores. It was Casper, HotRod and Benny's first
show away from home, second show ever. Along with this new activity, it was
also Anna's (the rider for all three) first show away from our farm/home. She
had 3 scores in the mid 60's, a 69 and a fabulous 73! Way to go Anna, keep up
the good work. We couldn't be prouder of our top student!
May 16th, our
second filly born. Her name is DeLaila.
May 19th, another colt is
born. He is named Westin.
2006
April 7th, our first foal was
born. Rem'brance by Blue Blood is out
of Mary's Last Beat, was born at 12:45AM. He is a BIG, confirmationally correct
chesnut colt with a beautiful flashy white face, right front sock and a left
white coronet band.
May 2nd, our second foal was born.
Samurai is by Scimitar out of Cordillera
was born around 1:30 in the afternoon. He is a gorgeous, correct bay colt with
a hind left sock.
May 6th, Congratulations to Leslie and Faith for a
job well done at their first dressage show of the season. They scored a 63.8!
May 10th, our third foal was born. Warrick (means leader) by Waldaire out of
Happening Baby was born at 5:30AM. He is a large dark bay colt with a hind
right sock, left coronet band and a few speckles of white hair for a star!
May 19th, our fourth foal was born... finally a filly!
Wahkona (means beauty) by Waldaire out of
Raven was born at 11:22AM. She is a pretty chestnut with a perfect star, two
tall front stockings with the right one half way over her knee, a hind tall
left sock and a right coronet band.
June 21st, our fifth foal was born
at 3:30AM. She is a very pretty dark bay by Waldaire out of Y'all Come. We took
a bit of time to name her because mom's milk was very rich and we had some
tough times with her. Her name is Willow
Wisp. There is no doubt she will be a strong, healthy mare!
July
2nd, our last foal of the year! Our third chestnut and third filly! We were so
hoping for a filly. Shaylee (means
Princess of the Field- Gaelic), which she certainly lives up to her name. She's
a sponky gal that reminds us of the typical Red Headed Irish! Shaylee has
outstanding confirmation!
July 22nd, our Second Annual Open house.
September 9th, MDA Dressage Schooling Show.
September 10th,
clinic with Danish rider, Yvonn Coleman-Larson
November 11th and 12th, Clinic with Yvonn
AGAIN! Due to high demand, Yvonn graciously returned for a full two day clinic.
We had a wonderful turn out and made it through the down pours!
